Kent and Ann will be leaving for Panyebar at the end of the year to live and work in the village for several months. They plan to drive down via Mexico. Please pray for their safety and for a fruitful and productive time. This is the first time any of the Mayan Partners team has lived and worked for an extended time in the village, and we bless them for the time they are taking off from work and their commitment to the work among the Quiche there.
We are trying to raise some funds for them to finish the bathroom project (which was done except for a fairly expensive drainage pipe), and we also are raising money for the wood stove installation project (see note above). Leanne and I are selling our Christmas CD we produced a year ago together to raise money for the project. If you would like to order some CDs to give to friends (or don't, but want to contribute to the project), you can do either of the following:
1) Send a Christmas CD order to ellenbtunes@yahoo.com with the number of CDs you want, and your address. CDs are $10 each or 12 for $100. $100 buys a wood stove for a Mayan family in Panyebar.
